BIO
Andy hails from the small town of Goochland in central Virginia.  In 1996, Andy earned his BS in Dairy Science at Virginia Tech., and continued on to complete a masters degree in reproductive physiology.  Andy has been in the Blackman lab since 2002 where he has established, along with Dr. Blackman, the Endothelial Cell Isolation Shared Facility.  Andy is a senior lab technician and manages the daily operations of the lab and the shared facility. His expertise is in endothelial cell isolation from a variety of human and mouse tissues as well as immunohistology.  Andy and his wife Marsha run their own horse and beef farm, and for now, have only four-legged kids.
