REDISTRIBUTE
- Redistribution of bedrooms creates smaller
footprint; more units can be built on the
site which reduces unit cost
- Projection of bedroom allows private
engagement of balcony versus public
projecting attachment
- Different configurations allows gradation
of unit pricing making units available
to broader range of income levels
RECOVER
- More floor area can be built within a single story by utilizing building code exceptions- Higher ceiling heights allows natural light deeper into space and reduces effects of the narrow unit width
