SITE AS MATERIAL
We are going to design a city whose conception
will be served by the real conditions of comfort,
cooling the hot Cordoba climate, the importance
of the fi nal landscape over fi nancial speculation,
the creation of a landscape architecture
based on the intelligence of
adaptation, and the use of the wind
as architectural material. . .
The new city will be the result of the adaptation of
concepts to reality, of functionality to function, and
of particularised, fragmentary procedures.

GENERATE
The vectorial sum of wind directions and velocities over time generated a latticework of corridors for the passage of cooling air
Adaptation/Mutation
The grid is a genotype, it provides the guidelines within which adaptation can occur. The phenotype is the response of the grid genome to external conitions- topography, vegetation and hydrology.
Interconnect/Join
Discrete networks are allowed to coexist commensally. They join and share the same surface, yet they are disctint, the y interact, and benefit from each other, but each remains unaffected by the other.
