ADAPTIVE SYSTEM
Sea Ranch was developed to bring people into an
environment with minimal impact to the land. Climate and
ecological factors directed the plan and the architecture.
Joseph EshrickÕs Hedgerow Houses which were tucked
into a windbreak, demonstrate an adaptive architecture,
taking a shape informed by the land and the wind.
