envelope the building, offering a
reciprocity between the natural
and living environments.
-Residents benefit from the mutual exchange of resources offered by multiple
ecosystems acting in the same environment.
SHARED
-The porches define the boundaries
between in and out, offering
both porosity and control.
-Houses are grouped into five terraces with two, four or five houses
each. Shared porches open to the interior, connecting residences to
each other across courtyards and semi-public spaces.
