MULTIPLE LAYERS
-The roof canopy above and porch
porch below correspond in character
and function, binding units
together to create a common
ground and shared environments
for living spaces.
-Private balconies are extensions of the living rooms, overlapping the
zones of the roof and porch. The living room is thus both in and out, private
and public.
ORIENTATION
-A diagonal entry sequence from
the stair corridor to living rooms
allows for maximum usable area
and unimpeded views throughout.
