CROSSBREEDING
-The "combination of elements the result of which miltiplies the mere sum of its parts." - Metapolis- Advanced Dictionary of Architecture
-Crossbreeding creates a typological hybrid, or an antitypes.
Deform/Distort
-Distortion is the deformation of movements during their generation or evolution
-Horizontal bands follow the orientation of street grid on either side of the site.
-This movement is deformed to wrap and conform to the exterior programs- parking, a bus stop, semi-public mini gardens, and shared recreational space.
-Stacked units shear apart from one another, creating new balconies and sheltered spaces
