These web-sites can be used independently by students, once you or a buddy has shown them how to navigate the sites. Sometimes a classroom activity may be too difficult for a newcomer and some independent work on a web-site would be more useful for the student. These sites may also be useful for remediation at school or at home if a student has a computer. Computers for Kids can help students obtain a computer.
