In both these videos -- the latter of which clearly references in the former, in lyrics and visuals -- Japan is dropped not in name, but in relatively random anime in the background. At least, the anime is random to me, or has a random relationship with the activities on board the space ships. If there is some point that connects these anime and the music video stories, let me know.
