I am currently a postdoctoral lecturer at The University of Virginia, situated in the beautiful town of Charlottesville.
Most broadly, my research interests relate to any problem where new or improved statistical methods will help to improve conditions for people living in today's society. I am always willing to talk to researchers working on such problems who would like advice or help with collecting, analyzing, or interpreting data.My current research activities relate to the following areas:
- Social Network Modelling, in particular models for dynamic networks and for event networks;
- Survey Research, in particular Network Sampling and methods for estimation in Multiple Frame Surveys.
- Pattern Recognition, particulary Multiple Classifier Systems (or "Classifier Ensembles");
