BENJAMIN GLOR - ARCH 5710 - PROJECT 06

IMAGE 1: HUE. I WANTED TO CALL OUT THE TEXTURE OF THE STONE, THE COLOR OF THE FLOWER. THROUGH THIS IMAGE I TRIED TO EXPLORE THE "ALIEN" QUALITIES TO RECOGNIZABLE OBJECTS.

IMAGE 2: SATURATION. I WANTED TO EMPHASIZE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE SCULPTURE, BENCH, AND TREES. THE BENCH IS PERFECT BECUASE OF THE SHADE AFFORDED BY THE TREES, THE SCULPTURE IS PERFECT BECUASE OF THE VIEWS AFFORDED BY THE BENCH. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE LOCATIONS ON GROUNDS.

IMAGE 3: ANY COLOR PROPERTY. TO ME, WALKING IN THE LAWN GARDENS IS RESTORATIVE. AT ANY MOMENT I FEEL LIKE I MAY ENCOUNTER A NEW PATH THAT CAN LEAD TO AN UNEXECTED PLACE. WHEN I AM IN THE GARDENS I FEEL LIKE I AM IN ANOTHER WORLD.
