I took a picture of Richards Medical Research Laboratories which is designed by Louis Kahn. And I'd like to strengthen its visual impact by emphasizing the lines of building. So I applied a conventional sharpening on it, and gave the building high-contrast edges.
The second picture is a capture of squirrel. I couldn't be too close to the squirrel, so the photo looks messy and has no center. To solve this problem, I cutted out the photo and used layer mask to apply a hiraloam sharpening on the squirrel.
