|No photographer would argue that light is not one of the dominating forces in photography, however most often light is thought of as a filler for the enviroment. A lens through which to view the actual subject of the photo, whether that be a person's portrait, a landscape, or a enticing meal shared on social media.
Living Light is a study into some of the numerous other ways light can be photographed, with the light itself and its characteristics becoming the subject of the image. The four ways exhibited here are reflection, line, paint, and entity.
In addition this study illustrates different kinds of negative space; from a black void into which color can be dropped, to a white expance created by combining light. These four selected images also follow the theme of contrast between warm and cool colors.
