My intention with this image was to show the challenges bearing down on me in my work for Lighting Design, and how I must look into myself to face them.

With this intention image I increased the curve in some of the upper regions to take away a bit of the amber in the image and have a bit of a combined light wall instead of invididual point sources.

With this image as I was experimenting I found that if I slid the curve to reduce the tone of the first three-quarters of the spectrum to absolute black, the ambers in the image took over and turned this firey red. I enjoy how the line texture of the light is much finer with this reduction.

This image was a happy accident as I left one layer on while I began to work in another. I then endevared to use several similar layers to push the distortions to the extreme and ended up with this.
