Photograph of the South wall of a completely redesigned porch of a small house in Clarksville, Missouri. The porch is a part of an ongoing restoration / renewal project and was completed this year. The vertical dividers in the facade alowed me to apply siding without help.

This slide shows the interior of the new porch.

New kitchen showing cooking island using commercially available counter top. Island is partially clad in Baltic plywood. Drawer fronts are made out of Baltic plywood and finished with polyurethane. Drawer pulls were purchased in Vicenza, Italy.

New kitchen sink cabinet and storage under wall oven.

Painted storage unit next to dishwasher.

Kitchen sink cabinet with a small window above that allows a view of the porch and the outside.

Kitchen storage detail. Baltic Plywood, polyurethane finish and Italian drawer pulls.

Bench is made out of soft maple. It is about four feet long and is, as yet, unfinished.

Bench detail

The small 'bar' is made out of birch plywood using miter joints. The drawer is constructed out of Baltic plywood and is supported on a copy of the small seat designed by Gerrit Rietveld [military series]. The bar is painted grey with black terminals [support unit]. The drawer is painted blue. Red movable partition.

Cook book storage unit with two compartments. Construction is similar to that of the 'bar'. Units are 80cm high, 40cm wide and deep. Small table. The construction os based on Gerrit Rietveld's design of 'krat meubels' [crate furniture]. Pecan was used and finished with spar varnish. Bathroom renovation in the farm manager's house at Bridlespur Farm. Painted sink cabinet and drawer. Inevitably there is left over lumber and plywood. I have used this to create a number of international birdhouses for blue birds.
