Prospects for Graduates

Career opportunities for graduating seniors were evaluated by both faculty and chairpersons. They evaluated the job market both locally and in general. Faculty also expressed their opinions on the ability of their departments' graduates to compete with graduates from other institutions. Chairpersons measured graduates' prospects in two additional ways. They estimated the average starting salaries for graduates of their program, and the percentage of seniors who accepted job offers or graduate school admission prior to graduation.

The following list quotes the survey questions for these variables and provides links to the tables of results.
