BTP Day of Caring ‘08
In September ‘08 BTP students participated for the first time in the United Way’s Day of Caring. Organized by BTPer Sarah Johnson, students mulched gardens associated with the Charlottesville Enterprise Center. The Enterprise Center works with high-risk students.
BTP Day of Caring ‘09
BTP students assisted in the continued development of a small three home site for transitional housing, a project sponsored by the Church of the Incarnation. Students cleared away brush and trees for a future vegetable garden, and constructed a compost bin and beehive. Organized by Sarah Johnson. At the Barrett Day Care, BTPer’s reorganized, cleaned, and hung shelves and a door on the second floor. Organized by Stacey Gorski.
