This chamber is currently used to study high-field ionization
processes in rare gasses. High-harmonic generation is studied with
equipment appearing immediately to the left of the chamber. These
experiments are performed under the direction of Bob Jones and Charles Sukenik
in a UVa/ODU collaboration.

This equipment is used for the pump-probe transient bleaching
experiments for determining the IVR rates of gas and solution phase
molecules. These experiments are performed under the direction of Brooks
Pate of the University of Virginia.
