Science centers around making observations and asking questions about
those observations. The Lab Notes serve as both a guide for laboratory
activities and as a prompt for inquiry, rather than a definitive set of
steps or procedures to follow. Use the Lab Notes to direct your activities
and focus your investigations but feel free to explore beyond what they
contain.
Although a set of Lab Notes is provided for each of the labs, five will be specifically collected throughout the semester. The Lab Notes are worth 25 point each, with the sum of them accounting for 25% of your final course grade.
