The Glocal City
Before the four professions of architecture, architectural history, landscape architecture, and urban and environmental planning tackle the "inconvenient truths" of global urbanization such as affordable housing, global sustainability, social equity and cultural memory, we have to learn to engage spatial and formal situation of communities that operate, culturally and ecologically in both local and global scales- the "glocal" city.
