Robeson County in North Carolina

University of North Carolina at Pembroke - "Old Main" Building which houses the Native American Resource Center

Robeson County is located in the southeast section of the state and is bounded by South Carolina. It is a large county with a total area of 950.3 square miles of low lying lands and swamps. It is home to approximately 41,000 members of the Lumbee Indian Tribe.
