I have worked on Superficial Mesoderm morphogenesis in a number of different amphibian species.
I am currently working on the patterning, cellular mechanisms and Biomechanics of subduction in the salamander Ambystoma mexicanum.
I am also working to characterize the cellular mechanism of blastopore closure in several species of frogs that do not use strong, dorsally focused convergence and extension movements during gastrulation.
