1 In each sound sequence, a pair of high pitch tones and a pair of low pitch tones are presented alternately. The stimulus onset asynchorny (SOA) within each pair of two same pitch tones is called within SOA (SOAw). The SOA between the second tone in one pair of two same pitch tones and the first tone in the other pair is called between pair SOA (SOAb).
