Visual Figure-ground Perception

Cues affecting figure-grouping perception:
Convexity, Symmetry, Small Area, Enclosure

We are trying to quantify these cues and see how the cues work together - seperately or interact with each other.

The cues we used in our current experiment include: Convexity, Width (Area).

The participants select whether they think the black or the white part is the figure.
