LAM is an industry-university research consortium, established by the National Science Foundation in 2002 as part of the Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC) Program. Our main center is located at the University of Virginia, and affiliated university is University of Michigan. The primary focus of the center is to develop laser and plasma applications.
