The McGarvey research lab is located at the University of Virginia in the Department of Chemistry. The focus of this lab is to develop new chemistry for synthesizing complex carbohydrates. The research director is Dr.Glenn McGarvey and there are currently four graduate students and one undergraduate student working in the lab.
