Hi there, I'm Michael van den Bossche. I was born on the other side of the pond in the
Whenever I’m not studying here I’m probably busy playing metal songs on my electrical guitar, swimming (not at the same time though) or going out with friends. Furthermore, I like listening to some decent music or reading a good book.


David is from Vancouver, WA, but moved down to New Orleans for his undergraduate studies at Tulane University. He joined our lab in 2006 and is studying for his Masters degree. He is currently developing a tape-casting technique for Solid Oxide Fuel Cell fabrication.

Maria is from Uzbekistan, but conducted her undergraduate studies at Lafayette College. She is a Ph.D student who joined our lab in 2006. She is currently studying the interplay between ion and electron conductivity and catalysis in perovskite structured oxides.

Rosemary completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona. Her research focuses upon the physical and electrochemical characterization of thin-film model SOFC electrodes.
Ali joined the group in the summer of 2008.
