Welcome to the McIntosh Group pages. These pages provide information on the people and research conducted in the McIntosh group at the University of Virginia in beautiful Charlottesville, VA.

The focus of our research are the fields of solid state electrochemistry, catalysis and ceramic materials. In particular, we are interested in the development of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) and mixed ion electron conducting (MIEC) membranes. The group was started in January 2006.

Our research was recently featured in the University of Virginia Explorations magazine!

See our recruiting 'advert' here.

You can also access our lab Wiki (on-grounds only).
