Summary: This article discusses the divergence of public health and city planning and offers a model
curriculum for fostering understanding and reconnection between the two professions
General Concensus: Students generally liked this article and that it focused on vulnerable populations. Epi
and Urban Design students wanted more articles discussing natural disasters and their
mitigation and more ideas about how to translate research findings into policy agendas.
