Counselor Education Program

Faculty and Students

The Counselor Education community has two formally organized groups that contribute to the quality of our work together. The organizations are the Counselor Education Student Organization (CESO ) and Rho Beta Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, the international honor society for students, professional counselors and counselor educators. Graduate students in the Curry School have an origination commonly called the "Ed Council." CESO and Rho Beta sponsor social activities throughout the school year and Ed Council host year opening and year end picnics.

A distinctive feature of the doctoral program is the collaboration between doctoral students and faculty. Counselor Education Pedagogy is a doctoral course team taught by the Counselor Education faculty and an end of course celebration has become a spring tradition.
