Problems
Identify/Generate the principle
Time: 20 minutes
After you've introduced the idea of tangible and conceptual problems,
ask students to decide whether these assignments call for tangible
or conceptual problem statements. Distribute the assignments; ask
students to mark them, then share results as a class.
Next, ask students to read the problem statements written in response
to the assignments. Talk about the dangers of turning conceptual
problems into tangible problem statements.
