How this Site Is Supposed To Fit Into the Course

Links O' the Day (for first half of course)
Updated List of Daily and Weekly Topics
This just in ... : This page details recent changes to the site.
Notes on the
Symbol:
The
symbol is used
to indicate material not present on the site as of a week ago.
The Links O' the Day page, typically updated every other day or
so, thus almost always merits the
designator--although the particular material that is new will obviously change from
week to week.
Text surrounded by
symbols indicates a link
leading to a brand-new page, while text with the symbol only on the right-hand side
indicates a link to some new material added to a pre-existing page.
Some links that were current when first referred to on this site have since gone to that great URL bin in the sky.
I use blue text that is not underlined to stand in for such links.
Material Placed on the Site Early in the Semester (and not subject to change or up-dating)
Brief (Hypertextual) Course Description
Initial, Tentative List of Topics (a.k.a. "Semi-Syllabus")
