For each week, there is a listing of the archetype, individual, and topic.  The topic is the focus of the discussion.  The archetype, and a specific example thereof, are mentioned to give us some concrete examples of individuals and stereotypes; a course like this examines a broad sweep of events, but it is also wise in doing so to think about the roles of particular individuals or at least of archetypes of particular individuals.
