Description: The University of Virginia, Department of Radiation Oncology, School of Medicine, is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral fellow position. Required qualifications include: a Ph.D. in Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields; Strong background in computer programming and mathematical modeling; Experience in finite element analysis is required. The ideal candidate will work on medical physics projects to measure and model the deformation of human lungs with radiation therapy.
