Description: The University of Virginia, Department of Radiation Oncology, School of Medicine, is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral fellow position. Required qualifications include: a Ph.D. in Physics, Biomedical engineering, or related fields; Strong background in computer programming and mathematical modeling; excellent communication and problem solving skill are required. Experience in MRI is a plus. The ideal candidate will work on medical physics projects that improve the accuracy of dose delivery, tumor tracking and image processing. The candidate will also have the opportunity to gain clinical experience as a medical physicist.
