The Timko laboratory explores the relationship between the genomic content of vascular plants and their capacity to grow, differentiate, and respond to biotic and abiotic stresses. To facilitate our studies we use a variety of research tools - large scale sequence datasets, gene expression profiling, genetics, bioinformatics and computational tools, and conventional biochemical approaches.
